Me and my fiancé really enjoyed coming to main road biscuit for breakfast while we were staying in Jamesport for the weekend (enough to go twice in one weekend). The smoothies are really good and so were the other breakfast meals we ordered.
It is a small quaint place with a new/farm feel. The decor is simple, yet nice and they even have some outdoor seating. It is a smaller place though so seating is limited.
I would definitely recommend coming here and I'm sad we didn't make it here for lunch/dinner but would definitely go back. -

Main Road Biscuit is perfect. Starting from the gorgeous restaurant that feels welcoming and totally North Fork, you know you're in for a treat. But then there's the food. Amazing. Delicious. Yummy. We came for lunch and had an exquisitely crafted omelet and the house made pickles. It was good enough to bring us back for dinner where we tried the mac and cheese and oyster pot boy. Both were delicious. And the service -- Julianna was our waitress -- was friendly and thoughtful, with a quirky sense of humor. This place is just what the doctor ordered.
UPDATE
Just ate here again and far from losing a step, this place is just hitting it's stride with some excellent new dishes lovingly made from amazingly fresh North Fork produce. -

I am an avid foodie on Long Island and have visited this place previously. The food is excellent, that is truly not my issue. My family and I visited again this past weekend however and had a subpar experience at best. The service was terribly slow, which is mildly understandable because it was very busy. My main complaint came when reviewing my receipt. The bill seemed a bit high considering our orders for two adults and one child. The main meals were reasonable, but I came to see that I was charged $10 for one single pancake and an additional $2 for the 8 blueberries they threw on top that I ordered for my 1 year old daughter. This seems absurdly expensive. The full order of pancakes is $12, had I know one would have cost me the same I would've gotten the full order and brought some home.
Again, the food is very good, but I will definitely think twice about visiting this place again due to this experience. Really disappointing :( -

Came here from a friend recommendation. Wanted to go to love lane kitchen but when I called the wait was long and the staff wasn't the nicest. When I called this place; they were very friendly. Fantastic service, wish I got his name.
Excellent biscuits. Very flaky. Comparable to southern style biscuits. Very accommodating with the menu. Interesting carrot hot sauce (definitely tasty). The hash browns were excellent! Combination of potatoes onions and carrots. Excellent coffee! If I was closer I would come back. -

In Monday 12/24/18 we went to Main Road Biscuit for a late breakfast. We were out on the north fork picking up a couple of pies for Christmas Eve from Hallock's.
Main Road is a really quaint cafe that specializes in home made biscuits. Fresh, flaky, and buttery. They also offer homemade jellies and jams. I'd stop here for the biscuits alone. Try the biscuit sampler. It comes with 4 buttermilk biscuits, honey butter and jam. Killer!!
If you are not into biscuits- try Grandmas Pancakes. Paper thin pancakes that don't need any toppings. They are that good. Or try their hash of the day. Everything is fresh, well prepared and delicious.
The one criticism I'd give is that the owner isn't the most friendly person. She's a bit abrupt. She seemed anxious to close up the shop and get on her way - and didn't really make it a secret. I get it - it was Christmas Eve and she probably had lots to do. She prob shouldn't have opened on Christmas Eve. Otherwise the staff is really nice and accommodating. Place is small. Fills up quickly.
